Walking COS (Class of Service)
An extension user can use another extension’s telephone with the COS assigned on his/her extension temporary. The user accesses his/her own extension from another telephone and operates features with the same conditions that are assigned to his/her own extension. This feature is one of the remote operations. This feature can also be accessed from the outside using DISA. The personal password is required to use this feature. Using a COS password, the two operations given below can be performed.
• Walking COS through DISA
This feature is available through DISA access from the outside.
Making a call
a) Extension No. (1 to 4-digit) plus PIN (10-digit)
The extension user can make a call from another extension with a lower level Class of Service (COS) by employing his/her own higher level COS temporarily.
Remote station control
b) Verified Code (1 to 4-digit) plus PIN (10-digit)
The user can remotely change the feature settings (e.g., Call Forwarding) of his/her own extension from inside the system or outside the system using DISA access.
